DIY Cedar Screen to Hide Garbage Disposal Cans

Look at what Sam built!  An awesome diy cedar screen. This brings a happy smile on my face whenever I pull into the drive.

Wood Cedar Screen for Trash Bins

This cedar plank screen wall was my Mother’s Day present and it was a lot of fun designing it together. It is a nice backdrop for our plantings but its primary purpose is to hide the outdoor garbage cans and recycling dumpsters.

The boys were keen to be involved, of course. Their favourite part was setting the posts. They also mitred the corners where the planks meet.

What I really like is the aluminium channels he added. It’s such a nice detail.

Adding that shining aluminium channels was a great move but what they did after that is fabulous, guess what? They added lights to it!
