This is the scene in our basement at the moment. There are 27 interior doors propped up and waiting to be painted. They’ve been here for three months now and I’ve pretty much accepted the fact that magical door painting fairies do not exist. Part of the hold-up is that I’m not quite sure which color I want to go with. Mostly likely they will be black but I’m also considering grey and white. Also, upstairs in the ‘Kid Zone’ I’ve been thinking about something a little more punchy.

How about some chalkboard paint on the boy’s doors? They would have a drawing surface and you could leave them ‘love not’….
